In this session of our series on nonviolence, we will explore what it means to cultivate peace and nonviolence within ourselves and right where we are, amidst the complexity and messiness of our current context and everyday lives. How do we cultivate peace not only in the world, but in our own hearts, homes, and relationships? What inner shifts make outer change possible? How might we understand nonviolence as love-in-action, and how might this help us cultivate a sense of agency and hope in dark times?
Through stories, reflection, and accessible practices, Dr. Stephanie Knox will guide us in exploring nonviolence as a personal and collective path of love-in-action - one that deepens our capacity to act with courage and compassion and connects us to movements for social transformation. Participants will leave with practical tools and embodied practices they can begin using right away to root their lives more deeply in peace.
